  • Buy at Costco!

  • Arden Myrin, you can get it anytime, anywhere.

  • What about purple?

  • So is this guy still making up his "facts" or is this channel decent yet?

  • walmart online has a cool gel 10 inch memory foam with a latex top for 150 ish bucks

  • I'll take "Duh" for 800, Alex.

  • Ruin sneakers

  • What about purple mattress?

  • Moon’s Mattress Kingdom

  • This video uses bad rationale. It suggests because some reviews are paid for, then reviews are not a good guide. It's still a good idea to go off reviews, sure they are not perfect but they are the best we have.

  • She looks like Arden from late MadTV cast, doesn't she?

  • Better options? Hmm, the dumpster. They're all free.

  • Suggestion! I have an $130 air mattress ( queen size) with a $100 "famous brand foam topper" and I sleep like a baby. The mattress has an electric pump that allows me to change the firmness at will. Yes I do have to add air every now and then but for the price I paid - it's no bother. You will need to put extra cotton layer ( under the sheet) between you and the foam or you will sweat like crazy. Another small price to pay for a very comfy bed for under $300! Frame not included.

  • Shots fired, podcasters

  • The very end through me off real quick

  • Elite Life Hack: Learn how to sleep standing up.

  • Next up Adam ruins having a nose

  • Podcast is just the new ASMR. UA-tv Rewind 2019 anyone?

  • that was more than 30 seconds of her time!

  • In Egypt we just use cotton.

  • So just buy what is comfortable. In cost and quality.

  • Got my mattress from sam’s club for 200 bucks, works great!

  • i worked in a big houseware chain store & we would do price matching & all that, so i had to be very familiar with products & model numbers & researching the comparisons, honestly majority of the time it was the same product just with a unique model number for that store or it had like one more accessory (it's more for loss prevention purposes tbh, essentially so if bbb target & walmart have the same item, someone cant return them at another, whether it was stolen or someone just trying to use a companies more flexible return policy) i bought a mattress a couple years ago, fairly on the lower to middle line, went to a couple different stores, in the last store there was a mattress that felt & looked identical to another i liked in another store (same brand too). researched a bit online before i bought it, but came to the same conclusion, the brands just sell the same exact mattress to different places in another name, bought the cheaper out of the two stores.

  • 3:20

  • 50 cent is not going to be happy about this video 😂

  • Naughty Matresd Industry Incest

  • A local man made my matress for $300. weve had it for years its amazing

  • Well mattresses aren't exactly a regular purchase, so to stay in buisness off course they'll need a big markup, or else it's gonna end up like everything else and you'll need to buy a new one every year

  • Everything was fine and dandy until his face melted off

  • Dear Adam, I live in Pittsburgh and here we do have a better option. It is called The Original Mattress Factory and they don’t sell outside brands. Their mattress factory is local and employs local workers. Each mattress is made to order and the prices don’t change based on where you are. I refuse to believe that Pittsburgh is 100% unique in this arena. There has to be an equivalent in at least some other cities.

  • That was scary af at the end. Now I have to sleep???

  • I've been sleeping on the same mattress since I was 7 and I'm 28 now. I ain't getting a new one until I'm married

  • 5:27 Nice crappy nightmare fuel adam, you totally did NOT looked like a markiplier thumbnail

  • that chick is hot

  • I’ve been sleeping on the floor for the past 10 years. Absolutely no problems.

  • google, I'd like to pay you to put an ad for my service at the top of the search results for all these papers I'm selling, even though you can goto the official government website and get the paperwork for free.

  • She's so attractive

  • Chopper King of Cars: Do anything to get dem into a new cah. Lie about their income on the loan form if they don't qaulify. And we'll put all of this on our show which will be cancelled in 1 year. Do I have enough grease in me hair?

  • Adam is a hack

  • Just got one on Amazon and I'm sitting on it now and it's awesome lol and no one sponsors me xD

  • In Germany there is "Stiftung Warentest" which ist totally independent and Ad Free. They testet Mattresses and best teted (second time in a row and the only one with Bestnote 1 ever) came from a Producer who only sells online in his own shop and it costs €199,- . The owner was pissed bey the Big Ripp off and refused to sell in the stores

  • Laying on my purple mattress stressing about my now challenged bed superiority. I don’t care Adam! I love this thing.

  • I got one of those mail order mattresses (not Casper) and I really like it. It's firm yet squishy and was on sale for under $500. Would recommend (except I'm not saying which one so people don't think I work for them). I'm sure they're all pretty much the same anyway.

  • Am I the only person who has never bought a mattress?

  • Well you could sleep on an air mattress.

  • Buy from the local hustler who sells them out of a storage unit. Paid $300 for a Queen and am still using it 15 years later.

  • I went to Ikea. Good mattresses at a decent price.

  • I know websites coming under different brand names but owned by the same owner. These sites claim to be “experts” with fake profiles and images taken from shutterstock as their profile photos. Afterwards, they provide false reviews placing the most frequently sold products on the top of their list to ensure that they generate the most money out of it. Here’s the kicker: They never even touch the product in the first place! And using good SEO practices, they make it show up on the top search results. Nothing but hot air. And they’re making millions out of it.

  • All I can say is shop off-brands there cheaper better quality and no hoops to jump through if something goes wrong with the mattress. Also shop at mom and pop shops they will do anything to keep a good name in there community.

  • Just get a purple mattress and call it day.

  • ... aren't you supposed to try the mattress yourself before buying? Some people need softer ones, some need firmer.

  • Uhh, the online memory foam mattresses let you try for a year. At least the one we bought from did.

  • I hang upside down from the ceiling. Space saving, cost effective and I'm 4 inches taller than I used to be.

  • I sleep on my floor. It’s only cuz I don’t like soft beds.

  • Thank you Adam and College Humor for this one. Just in time for me too, not that there is much I can do about it I guess.

  • Commie fucker

  • "industry incest"

  • I just hate this guy's face

  • The reason why mattresses are such a rip off is because it's not something you buy often. People keeps mattresses for 10~ years so the retail is much higher then the cost to make it. I worked at a furniture store as a sales person and mattresses had like 200 dollar spiff for a 1500 dollars mattresses. Im not disagreeing it's a rip off but it's kinda justified.

  • Lol i caught what the generic podcast was poking at cheeky

  • Nice show, but there’s the big gay. ;-;

  • It’s in Adam Ruins Everything interest to make everything seem worse than it is. The success of the video relies on it. Where is ‘Adam Ruins’ Adam Ruins Everything??

  • These days you should just pick a scam that is the least of evils, I think there's no fixing it.

  • Growing up, my family always found mattresses at yard sales or outside of peoples house with a big old sign on it that said "FREE". Weve never gotten a dirty mattress and have always found very comfortable and clean ones. We still do this, and to this day have never bought a mattress in a store and have saved thousands of dollars :)

  • who is this gay version of alton brown?

  • So how is this white people, straight people, the nra, Trump, or organized religions fault?

  • Idk I’m still gonna use a mattress

  • Beta male king.

  • But that ending? What the heck are you doing?

  • Costco makes a solid mattress

  • Adam is nothing by a soy boy with a ridiculous haircut, a liar, that contradicts himself

  • Give me the big facts Adam!

  • 3:20

  • 3:20

  • 3:20

  • $200 IKEA mattress, worth every penny

  • but what is the purpose of a purple matress?

  • That lady at 0:18 is that pageant lady from insatiable off Netflix

  • It looks like a dank meme at the end

  • This has nothing to do with a mattress companies he’s just described every retailers formate . I guess it’s a cleaver pun on marketing . Your all ways getting scammed when shopping.

  • Don't use Google. 90% unrelated to the video but just don't. The alternatives are 10x better and it'll make the world better

  • Just buy the purple matress it's 100, with a grid like design and the firmness to cradel pressure points but the softness to not break a raw egg it's the best of comfort and practicality combined.

  • weird flex but okay

  • aside from the anti true crime virtue signaling this video was decent

  • Poor Philly D

  • hold on.. i NEED to know about the purple mattress. adam pls

  • What a worthless video. "Buying mattresses is a rip-off, and there's nothing you can do to stop it." Wow, thanks for being so insightful.

  • Just buy one of those mattresses that are just a slab of sponge inside. They super cheep and if you sleep in roughly the same spot, will over time become nice and soft on that area.

  • People are gonna take this the wrong way, because that's what they do. Lying on an 80 bucks piece of foam still isn't just as good as sleeping on a quality mattress, and will ruin your health. You don't need a 1000-2000 bucks mattress, but you do need an actual good one.

  • The only thing he knows about mattresses is the one his boyfriend presses his face into.

  • The last time I was mattress shopping I already had a nifty, incredibly inexpensive, 22" high inflatable queen size bed in a box in my trunk. I decided to check out a large mattress store before breaking open and trying the cheap bed out but couldn't find any sales people in the store. I finally found a lady sleeping in a recliner behind a desk in the middle of the store. It was hard to wake her because she was using headphones. She finally showed me a mattress I had seen advertised and pointed out the fact that it was crap. I told her I was driving around with the new inflatable bed in the car and she advised that I was better off to keep that one. That was more than one year ago and I am very pleased that I did.

  • so pretty much this is a long way to say nothing

  • Google Zinus and thank me later

  • Sooooo... are there any useful pointers for mattress shoppers, or is this video simply b*tching for the sake of b*tching? Like, are we supposed to just buy the cheapest one, or what.

  • The most annoying person in the world right here

  • Owo look at the sparkle

  • Hey you Adam, where's eve?

  • The podcast is SO TRUE

  • All the dislikers were mattress company employees

  • 4:50 Freddie Mercury? What are you doing working for a matress company?
